This is a zombie bill that the Senate Ethics Committee passed last night. They gutted a good bill and jammed it with election law changes for 2026. To add insult to injury, the elected GA Secretary of State has been removed from overseeing elections and that task has been given to the very partisan and appointed Georgia Board of Elections.
