We are navigating a period of continued grief and intense attacks on our communities. From the devastating, preventable losses of life in ICE custody to the relentless anti-immigrant policies threatening our neighborhood, the weight of these injustices is heavy.  We are answering these systemic attacks with deep resilience, collective care, and unwavering resolve. At Advancing Justice-Atlanta, we know that true safety doesn’t come from the systems that seek to harm us, it comes from empowering one another.   We are continuing to show up for our communities through vital Know Your Rights trainings and community workshops. Out in our neighborhoods, we are continuing to knock on doors to mobilize voters, and we are building strong coalitions to advocate for all of us. We deserve a Georgia where everyone can live with safety, dignity, and peace. Thank you for standing with us in solidarity to build the power that makes the future possible.

Plea Advancing Justice-Atlanta is proud to partner with Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP on our Court Watch Program. We are training volunteers to attend immigration court hearings as neutral observers, documenting and reporting their observations.   By bearing witness through our Court Watch Program, we help bring greater transparency to the immigration court system, identify concerning trends, and strengthen our advocacy and legal services for immigrant communities. We are grateful for everyone involved in this important work! Our Legal Services team hosted a Free Citizenship Clinic in Clarkston in partnership with Poder Latinx and Mi Familia en Acción. We are grateful to our incredible team, our partners, and everyone who came out to take this step towards becoming a U.S. Citizen. The Primary Elections may be over in Georgia, but our Civic Engagement & Organizing continues with our Voter Registration drives and connecting with our community through voter education. We are incredibly grateful for the incredible work of our team and the community support to make this vital work possible.    We also extend a heartfelt thank you to our incredible volunteers for their dedication and energy in mobilizing our community.  We are building power for good in the South! We absolutely loved having the team from IAJE (Ignite Amplify Join Empower) visit our space.
