Congolese Family seeks work opportunities
As asylum seekers, Judith and Oshea currently live at Jubilee Partners but are poised to move into their own residence off site. Both have work permits and, as of last Friday, both have driver licenses. It is expected that the couple will gain possession of a car in the next two weeks. What is missing are temporary work opportunities so that money can be earned for transportation (insurance and ad valorem taxes) and housing costs. I am employing Oshea for landscaping on Fridays but he is available on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at $25 an hour. Judith sells Mary K products and loves to cook for social events, so there are opportunities there.
