Unitarian Universalists Congregation of Gwinnett

March Update — Updated with links 3-16-2026

Our Congregation is working on Resisting Fascism based on the work of Timothy Snyder.  We are working on a calendar of actions that Unitarian Universalists can engage to save our democracy.  We hope to make this publicly available soon.

Every fourth Sunday we connect our Faith to Action with our Good Trouble Faith Development Program.  In this program, we take our UU Values and help our members and friends identify the way we can live our values in our lives every day.  Our UU values are Justice, Equity, Transformation, Pluralism, Interconnection, Generosity with Love at the Center.  Join us on fourth Sundays in person or online:  https://www.uucg.org/calendar-of-events/

We support El Refugio through individual and group efforts. We work to Get out the Vote (GOTV) during election season including primaries. We offer space for local community events  supporting voices who are often unheard as well as participate in local community coordination to protect democracy like pocketbookbrigade.org/.  We have an internal foodbank to support our members and friends who are food insecure as well as collect food monthly for our local community food bank.

We will stand and sing in vigil on Sundays at 6PM to 6:30PM at the Verizon Store corner of Hwy 124 and Ronald Reagan. We are working on an action to save public libraries beyond legislative action. Our congregation will participate at No KIngs Day in Tucker, Snellville, Peachtree Corners and Suwanee – some members are also headed to Atlanta.
